Isalo National Park is a National Park in the Ihorombe Region of Madagascar. The park is known for its wide variety of terrain, including sandstone formations, deep canyons, palm-lined oases, and grassland.
The park is also home to the baobab trees, often described as "the upside down tree" due to its unusual shape (the tree's branches look like roots sticking up in the air). The baobab has sparked many legends throughout the centuries. One ancient myth says that when the gods planted the trees, they kept walking away so they placed them upside down.
